Our 2022 Brochure will be ready soon,. Wine, beer and cider tasting fees and food are your cost. Tasting fees vary from $ 10 plus depending on the number in your group. Refer Cycle Trail pdfs which are full of information, they can be found at the bottom of each Cycle Trail information sheet - open them up - you will enjoy a little history of each area too!
Please respect properties you will be visiting and close all gates where applicable. Please check with the winery or activity staff to ensure it is ok to have your picnic in their grounds.
All cyclists must comply with New Zealand Road Code for Cyclist when hiring a ‘Bike About Tour’ Bike. Note: Visitors to New Zealand – it is compulsory to wear a cycle helmet! We strongly encourage you to read more about cycling safely here.
We Provide
Bike, panniers - ideal for carrying your goodies, handlebar bags, (no handle bar bags on Electric Bikes) bike helmet (you are welcome to bring your own helmet.), high visibility safety vests – not compulsory by law, a key lock, puncture repair and first aid kits. An informative map full of cycling instructions. Coach back up in the unlikely event of a bike breakdown OR if you run out of pedal power (cost may apply) Note: if you have purchased more than you can carry phone ahead for them to be collected…
CAN I BRING MY OWN BIKE?
Yes. If staying at Greenmeadows on Gloucester – home of Bike About Tours – If you have chosen to book a Cycle Holiday Adventure we offer a price adjustment of $40 per day per person off the total cost
