This wine growing area has a long heritage of quality wines produced from the finest vineyards in the Hawkes Bay,  wineries have been rewarded with there dedication with a string of accolades over the years.

The friendly cellar door teams invite you to sample outstanding fine wines and cuisine, whether it's a picnic lunch under the trees or a fine dining experience of the very best quality.

Note: You will be well rewarded with the views of the Tuki Tuki river and outlying areas cycling the new pathway to Craggy Range which is elevated on the side of the hill adjacent to the roadway

If you still have heaps of pedal power   Back track and join the River Road Riverbank pathway  which follows the majestic Tuki Tuki  River as it makes its way out to sea, passing by vineyards, orchards, horticulture and farming areas.   On arrival at Black Bridge  you will be collected or continue cycling back to Bike About Tours base

Please ensure you book the wineries and lunch venue prior to the days cycling – if you don’t do this there is a possibility of being turned away on the day
