Highlights
From Bike About Tours base you have an amazing adventure ahead of you - join the Tutaekuri Riverbank Pathway to Awatoto turn right and follow the Pathway beside the sea  - soak up the  spectacular coastal views across the Pacific to Cape Kidnappers.  Stop of and view the history of  Waitangi Regional Park where you can see the stunning Star Compass, Ātea A Rangi, which illuminates the art of early Māori navigation. Cycle over 3 cyclists clip on bridges then follow the Clive River, turn right passing by the estuary / wetlands to  East Clive on way to  Black Bridge, where the Tuki Tuki River meets the sea, cross via the clip on bridge, then  join the  Tuki Tuki  Estuary /Wetlands which spans 60 hectares  - keep an eye out for the wildlife. as you cycle the pathways

Cycle through the village of Haumoana then  onto the pathway beside the sea to Te Awanga Village where you will find  Elephant Hill Estate: Gourmet Platters  - Clearview Winery& Restaurant, Te Awanga Wines: picnic - platters and pizzas,   Hygge Cafe at road end! an opportunity to sample their excellent wines and gourmet food.    Art & Craft outlets to explore and lots more.

Please ensure you book the wineries and lunch venue prior to the days cycling if you don’t do this there is a possibility of being turned away on the day

Bike About Tours provides top of the range bikes, most bikes are fitted with gel seat covers, handle bar bags, panniers for your wine and other goodies, bike stands, key padlocks for bikes.   We supply first aid and puncture repair kits;   a detailed map of the Cycle Trail of your choice, helmet or you can bring your own.  High visibility vests are not compulsory – we have them in stock if you wish to use one.  Note: The majority of our Electric bikes don’t  have handle bar bags!
