Highlights     7.5 kms ride                                                                                        Connect mind body and soul and enjoy nature's peaceful surroundings   as you cycle this amazing area 5 minutes from our base in the suburb of Greenmeadows you will find two Historic wineries Mission Estate and Church Road  both offer fine dining, wine tasting and a range of tours to learn about the wine making process. Meander through the suburb of Taradale   viewing from your bike, beautiful homes and gardens on way to the Duke of Gloucester Bar &  Family Restaurant. A 2kms ride back to Bike About Tours  base 

15.28kms ride                                                                                                  Includes the 7.5km ride plus the  Filter Room & Cafe for Ale and Cider which is made on site  (closed Mon and Tue) a delightful outdoor area amongst the fruit trees to sit and relax and catch up with your friends and family – most Saturdays they have music. –

Well worth the additional ride of 19.28kms in total – is Hawke’s Bay’s Oldest Boutique Winery – Brookfield’s Vineyard established in 1937  - famous reputation for their fine wines.

Please ensure you book the wineries and lunch venue prior to the days cycling,         if you don’t do this there is a possibility of being turned away on the day

Bike About Tours provides top of the range bikes, most bikes are fitted with gel seat covers, handle bar bags, panniers for your wine and other goodies, bike stands, key padlocks for bikes.   We supply first aid and puncture repair kits;   a detailed map of the Cycle Trail of your choice, helmet or you can bring your own.  High visibility vests are not compulsory – we have them in stock if you wish to use one.  Note: The majority of our Electric bikes don’t  have handle bar bags!
